Some dogs like to wear diamonds, but Honey Bun, the pampered pooch belonging to the owners of an Albany, Ga.-based jewelry store, would rather do something else with them (via 10WALB).

Jeweler Chuck Roberts discovered that his dog had expensive taste when a pack of loose diamonds went missing after he briefly turned his back to help out a customer.

"We looked all over and there weren't any diamonds, so immediately I knew he'd eaten them," Roberts told 10WALB.

X-rays revealed that Roberts' suspicions were correct, and a day later, two diamonds and an earring backing-- worth around $10,000--reappeared.

A happy ending for Roberts, and for Honey Bun.

But buyers beware: the earrings were sent back to the supplier; we really hope they got a good scrubbing first.
