Now that the Feds want to block the AT&T/T-Mobile deal, before going to court AT&T has a plan to offer a settlement, Reuters has learned.
Basically, the settlement would include a promise to keep T-Mobile's cheap data plans and a bunch of asset sales.
If anything can get the DoJ to back off, it would certainly be something that looks like that. But it doesn't look like the Feds want to back off, it looks like they want to go all the way.
