Alex Rodriguez And Cameron Diaz Have Reportedly Split

Rumors are flying that power couple Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz have broken up (New York Post).

The two stars both want to focus on their careers. A source told the Post:

"She's very busy with her career," the source said of the 39-year-old actress. "And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals."

But Diaz isn't the first break-up A-Rod has seen. From marriage to flings, A-Rod has been linked to a lot of beautiful women

Al Qaeda Second In Command Atiyah Abd al-Rahman Reportedly Dead

  x You have successfully emailed the post. Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, al Qaeda's second in command was killed in Pakistan on August 22, according to the AP.

An Obama senior administration official says:

"Atiyah's death is a tremendous loss for al Qaeda. He had multiple responsibilities in the organization and will be very difficult to replace."

While the official will not say how al-Rahman was killed, it was on the same day a CIA drone strike was reported in the tribal region of Waziristan in Pakistan.

al-Rahman, who was born in Libya, joined bin Laden's forces when he was a teenager, and was believed to be a close confidant of bin Laden. Before bin Laden's death, Atiyah was the operational chief of al Qaeda. Atiyah was believed to be in his mid-30s.

UK Deputy PM Reportedly Hit With "Paint Bomb"

A protester has been for arrested in Glasgow allegedly throwing a "paint bomb" over the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg of the UK, the BBC is reporting.

The man involved, Stuart Rodger, allegedly shouted "No Shock Doctrine for Britain" during the attack, a reference to the Naomi Klien book and recent austerity cuts in the UK, reports Indymedia Scotland.

Rodger had allegedly filled eggs with blue paint. He is reportedly a former member of Clegg's Liberal Democrat Party.
