Yahoo's share price is jumping on the news that Carol Bartz is out and Daniel Loeb, a major shareholder, is calling for board turnover.
But while the stock is up almost three points since August's low of $11.09, its price isn't approaching the 52-week high of $18.84.
And it's no where near the $31 per share that Microsoft offered way back in 2008.
In other words, there are some funds out there (and a few individuals) that have been abused by Yahoo's board for a long time now.
