More Names Revealed: The People Who Did The Coolest Stuff In New York Tech This Year, Ranked!

Last week, we released our annual SA 100 feature, a list of 100 people who have done the coolest things in New York tech this year.

This week, we're ranking it.

We released the bottom 25 people on the list Monday. Yesterday we revealed the next 25 people on the list.

Today, we're getting towards the top of the list and releasing #26-100.

Tomorrow we'll release even more, #11-25. Friday, the complete ranked list will be unveiled.

The world of A-list celebrities has become something of a joke in recent years.

People like Paris Hilton have managed to secure world-wide fame by having sex on tape and by having a rich dad. It's pretty ridiculous.

But thankfully, there is salvation, as these "celebrities" are often just socialites, meaning they typically get themselves into quite a mess of an evening.

So with that being said, here’s a quick run-down of some of the most infamous celebrities who were caught behind the wheel being very naughty, indeed.

Today's advice comes from Feather and Black founder Adam Black's interview with the Yorkshire Post:

“Insecurity is a good thing and arrogance is a cardinal sin ... I would rather know if we’re having a bad day because if we have a bad day, I’m in a bad mood. If we have two bad days I do something different."

Black founded his UK furniture company in 2004 with exceptional customer service in mind. To stay successful, he's incorporated an obsessive eye for detail and an unwillingness to let the small things slide.

He's acutely aware of the goings-on at Feather and Black, checking sales figures several times a day even when he's out of the office. By staying on top of things, Black says he's able to fix even small problems to improve business and better serve consumers.

“We’ve strengthened the brand, we’ve shortened the lead times, created new products and fast track delivery. We’ve done 100 things a little bit better and made a big difference.”
