A TIGER COMEBACK? Woods Broke A Record At A Florida Golf Course Yesterday

It's been a seriously rough couple of years for Tiger Woods.

But there might be hope for the unlucky golfer. Woods went golfing at The Medalist in Florida yesterday and shot a 62, beating the previous record by two (Tim Rosaforte via Yahoo! Sports).

This is a good sign for Woods since he hasn't shot under 70 since coming back from injury.

Hopefully it will carry over for Woods at the Frys.com tournament this week.

Tony Romo Led The Cowboys To A Comeback Win With A Punctured Lung Yesterday

x You have successfully emailed the post.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has a punctured lung.

He came out in the second half against the 49ers yesterday, but was able to return and throw for three touchdown passes in the 27-24 Cowboys win.

Somehow, coach Jason Garrett says Romo should be fine to play next week.

"I would not think there's any reason to think that he won't play Monday," he said. "We're certainly hopeful."

Police Found A Dead Body At The Bottom Of An NFL Player's Pool Yesterday

x You have successfully emailed the post.

A man drowned after a party at the home of Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith on Saturday night.

Police were called to Smith's house at 9:30 a.m. yesterday, and found a 37-year-old man fully clothed and drowned at the bottom of Smith's pool.

Authorities say foul play is not suspected.

"Apparently, he stayed out there by himself," Fort Bend County Sheriff's Capt. James Burger said. "In the morning, when people woke up and went outside, they discovered him in the pool."

He was not associated with the team.

Around 100 people attended the party, including "4 or 5" Texans players.

Carolina Panthers Tight End Jeremy Shockey Saved A Choking Teammate's Life Yesterday

x You have successfully emailed the post.

Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey saved teammate Ben Hartsock from choking on a piece of pork yesterday.

After a chunk of pork tenderloin got caught in Hartsock's throat, someone tried and failed to give Hartsock the Heimlich.

When it become apparent that Hartsock couldn't breathe, Shockey hit him in the back and dislodged the pork.

The situation got "really scary" before Shockey stepped in, the Panthers told Hartsock's agent.

"He was in good spirits and he’s real thankful for Shockey," the agent said.
